How do you choose the right size compression stockings?

How do you choose the right size compression stockings?

In order to achieve the best effects of compression therapy, it is crucial that you have the right stocking size. It is also essential that the stockings fit perfectly so that compression is properly distributed. Should your stockings be improperly worn, the increasing compression may cause strangulation in your feet. When selecting the right stocking size, make sure you follow the measurements and table displayed on the package.

For knee high stockings, priority is placed on foot size.
For Pantyhose and Hold up stockings, the person’s height is a crucial factor.

  • A – height
  • T – circumference of the hips
  • G – circumference of the thigh
  • B – circumference of the ankle
  • F – foot size

An easy guide

  • Roll the stockings down to the tip of your toes, watch video
  • Put the tip of the stocking onto your toes and then gradually roll it up your foot.
  • Make sure the heel of the stocking is correctly positioned.
  • Then continue pulling the stocking up your leg.
  • Smooth out any possible irregularities and wrinkles using your palms.
